Editorial Policy

This page explains how we create, check and update the content on Discover North India. We want you to know that you can trust what you read here.

Our Goal

Our goal is to give travellers clear, correct and useful information about North India, in simple words.

How We Research

Before we write a guide, we collect information from reliable sources, such as:

  • Official state tourism department websites
  • Government and public information pages
  • Archaeological and heritage records
  • Railway, bus and airport information
  • Weather and road information from official sources

We compare more than one source whenever possible, so that one wrong detail does not get through.

How We Write

  • We use simple words and short sentences.
  • We explain any hard word in easy terms.
  • We write our own content. We do not copy from other websites.
  • We do not write fake stories or pretend to have experiences we did not have.

Honest About Our Experience

Our guides are research-based. We do not claim that we have personally visited every place we write about. Instead, we focus on giving you checked facts, clear steps and honest tips.

Fact-Checking

Before we publish, we check the main facts, such as distances, timings, best seasons, fees and routes. Where a detail changes often, we tell you to confirm it on the official source.

Images

We use images that are free to use, openly licensed, or made by us (like maps and simple graphics). We give credit where the licence needs it. We do not copy pictures from other websites without permission.

Updates and Corrections

Travel information changes. We review and update our articles from time to time. If you find a mistake, please tell us at mayankkumart7567@gmail.com. We will check it and fix it quickly.

Independence

Our content is written to help readers. We do not publish false or misleading information to push any place, hotel or service.
